Take the Risk
Screw the system. I say it all the time! But what you might not be hearing me say is to “take risks”. One of the most common traits among entrepreneurs is the willingness and the absolute necessity of taking risks. I’m not talking about jumping out of airplanes or skiing the extreme slopes, though many do those things too; I’m talking about not always taking the “safest” or the most “conventional” path to what you want in life, or in your business.
Be a Risk Taker – Tips from Entrepreneur Chris Rugh
Taking risks involves a bit of study and calculation on your part, and then a bit of gambling too. What risk is there without gambling? Yes, there will be times that you will lose, but if you are managing risks correctly, the amount of money that you lose will tend to be minimal. On the other hand, a healthy risk can net you a huge profit. I’ve found that for the most part my risks have turned out well and if I hadn’t been a risk taker, then I wouldn’t be where I am today…and I know for sure that I wouldn’t be as happy.
