Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) April 8, 2010
Financial illiteracy is condemning many Americans to a lifetime of debt and financial struggle. The Stand Up for Financial Literacy campaign is designed to help today?s youth to successfully navigate the financial challenges that await them in the ?real world? through its partnership with Money XLive.
Starting in April 2010 (Financial Literacy Month), the national Stand Up for Financial Literacy Campaign will be collaborating with financial advisors, business professional, coaches, educators and community leaders to bring the Money XLive multimedia financial education presentation to communities across the country. These events are designed to educate, motivate and move students to take positive action toward building a solid financial foundation.
The Money XLive Financial Professional Challenge is calling on those involved in the financial field to volunteer to teach a financial literacy class in their local community. The Stand Up for Financial Literacy campaign provides a wide range of resources for financial advisors and concerned citizens that are looking to make a difference in the well-being of our youth.
The Money XLive Multimedia workshops features exclusive celebrity videos, a turnkey delivery system and include all the resources that facilitators need to make a positive difference in their community. This financial education event features live entertainment acts to help motivate students to learn as they watch their favorite celebrities share personal stories that supports the practical financial education curriculum.
The multimedia financial education workshop is based off the Money XLive event. The live event is a concert style event that brings out celebrities, entertainment and the leading financial literacy experts to communities across the country. The next Money XLive event is scheduled for April 17th in Grand Junction, Colorado.
?We are excited to partner with Money XLive and host financial education events that give today?s youth an exciting way to pick up practical money skills and entrepreneurship lessons,? states Sarano Kelley, founder of the Stand Up for Financial Literacy campaign.
